The small craft advisory kept us at the dock another day, so today it was breakfast burritos.Off to the boardwalk we went for our daily walk with our DVDs we wanted to trade. We checked out the ocean and we could see waves off shore a ways, nothing close but the horizon had ripples in it. And if we could see them from the beach I'm sure we wouldn't have liked them up close. Even Bella checked out the ocean, longing to head to sea... Not really, she was watching the birds.. On the boardwalk there was a cute young couple playing musical benches with their young son. It was so cute we had to stop and talk to them. Marcus, Rachael and Byron were locals who like to hang out on the board walk and play with their son. I let Bella run the beach and chase her ball while we visited.Carl told them about our trip and the blog, so they asked if they would be on the blog today and on it they are. Hope you like it.. One of the fun things about the boardwalk this time of year is Bella gets to met, sniff and play with all the other dogs out for their walk. Today there were a few guys trying to get pictures of one of them skateboarding on a rail so we stopped to watch that, till the maintenance man showed up and shooed them away. Oh well fun while it lasted..Then we met a couple of ladies that were suppose to go out on a boat today but the captain called the trip on the count of small craft advisory. We felt their pain. A few more blocks down the boardwalk and we came to the street where the DVD store was located. Stopped in to show what we had and the lady didn't want to give us but $1.25 for our movies and charge us $5.00 each for hers, so needless to say we left with the movies we came with. Out on the street we continued our walk and found a place giving away day old bagels so we got a bag. Yeah baby day old and free, that's the stuff for us.. Our walk was only about 4 miles today, such slackers..A stop at Pickles, made us feel like we were becoming locals.Back to the boat for another night of movies, dinner and waiting to leave. We had hoped today would prove to be the day but after our talk with Sea tow, we will were enlightened and again we wait. Gonna find a job soon if we don't leave. I need work something to occupy my time.. Dreams of Florida on my mind.
