As soon as we all woke up Bella made it clear she needed to go to shore.. For a sea dog she sure likes  going ashore, it's almost like mutiny, dirty dog.... While Carl took her for a walk Ed called to say his house was open and we could shower while he worked for a couple of hours. Well you don't have to tell us twice, to the showers we went. Gee we smell clean... Back at the boat we grabbed Bella and headed to town. Once we found a dog store Bella got a new harness, a toy and a special treat, since she was gonna have to spend the day on the boat.. Ed passed us on the way back to the boat and said he would shower and be ready to go to the music festival. Got our cooler together with sandwiches, beer, crackers and hummus and headed over to Margarte. They had lots of vender's, children's rides and a couple of music stages, one for kids and one for adults. Ed introduced us to his brother Kelly, his wife Donna and Larry, nice people, who we spent the day with listening to music and people watching. What a blast, they even had a beauty contest for women over 50 and one was wearing her banner proudly while she danced..I should have entered I could have won, or so I say....Yeah I'm a hot babe...The bands played everything from Jimmy Buffet, Blues to Country, plus kids from a local music school played, they were great.. We also walked around and found a Pink Porta-potty, for girls only. It even had a mirror and hand sanitizer. Then on the way home Ed took us by a huge Elephant that was a hotel built in the early 1900's and is a historical site. Many were built on the east coast, but only this one survived.. After the festival Ed invited us for dinner, so we picked up Bella  and went back to Eds. He cooked pork and tuna on the grill. How wonderful was that. We hung out for the evening then headed back to the boat.Today we are gonna check out the boardwalk and pick up a couple of items I forgot at the grocery store and find a couple of coffee cups. Our last day at sea, I had done dishes and put them in the drier rack on the counter  while we were moving. I never do that but, there weren't any other boats out. While talking to Tammy on the phone, a large power boat goes by with a huge wave and all the dishes come crashing down on the cabin floor. I wasn't thinking about the dishes when the boat passed and was very upset when it happened... I lost a coffee cup I got with my mom when we went to Calf. and Carl lost one from an old girlfriend , since both are gone this was a big bummer.. So I hope we find cool cups to replace them.. We will spend the day here since it such a pretty day with a free dock, and then move as soon as the weather window opens again.. We are feeling better since we are in New Jersey and not as worried about getting south with only one stop left in this state...
