Starting out the day with my daily blog and just doing things around the cabin. The air is a little cooler so I'm in no big hurry to go anywhere.. I know , I complained when it was way to hot now I"m saying it cooler , but I'm not complaining just saying..Hot oatmeal was made for breakfast to warm our bodies before we headed to shore. Just as we were about to leave a power boat speeds by and make a wake so big it almost swamps our dingy. Carl got in the  dingy to bail out the water so we could leave, one he goes to start the motor he notices that fuel is leaking everywhere, the fuel filter on the little motor is busted off from the huge wake rocking the boat around. Needless to say he is not happy. He finds some fuel line to temporally  fix the problem but now he cant shut off the fuel, so we have to order a part on the Internet. It wouldn't be us if something didn't happen.. The adventure continues...It was our choose to take Bella with us to the beach to check out the waves for surfing. Even though dogs are not allowed on the boardwalk Carl said he would carry her on it and we would just act like we didn't know if we got stopped. The waves turned out to be shore pound, the wind was on it and they were breaking right on the beach. No surf today....We went to the surf shop right there cause I wanted a t-shirt I saw there a few days earlier,Carl chatted with the guy while I tried some on.Found the one I liked and we were off, but not before we got an ice cream. One was chocolate and vanilla and the other was vanilla and orange we think sherbet. Boy oh  boy was that good, and it turned your tongue orange..We enjoyed our walk back , jumped in the dingy and readied the boat for moving. Today we were going back to the other anchorage, where we say the horses. It was rough getting through that inlet again. Boats in large number and a current that was rushing against us.. We got back in the other area and where we saw Andy and Cathy from Philadelphia , so we anchored near by. A quick call to say hello and we just did things around the boat. I cleaned and scrubbed and gave Bella the same nail polish as me ( it looks so cute) while Carl does his boat stuff. Your thinking oh no she has become one of those crazy dog people.. Not yet but close.. It was 6:30 and time to go see if we could get some mussels. We got in our wet suits and headed over, even Bella went. Mussels were everywhere they covered the banks.. We got busy gathering them up. We each had a bag and man did we get a lot.. This did not take very long, good thing too cause the water was rough from all the boats going by and Bella was not to happy in the dingy.Back on the boat I cleaned all the mussels and readied they to cook, and man were they good!! I made a garlic wine sauce for them and we went to town. We have so many I will have them in pasta today..Our last night in Ocean City Maryland as we head out in the morning..
