A slow day for the news, not much to report. Most of the morning was spent hanging around the boat and making calls to figure out were to have our TV delivered to . Yes we are gonna have a TV again in a couple of weeks. Aunt Dot and Bunnie in Conn. are letting us have it sent to their house so we can pick it up when we get there..They are part of my Slater family, good thing I always stayed close to them.. Carl went over to the fuel dock to drill bigger holes in our oars.. I know , I know that doesn't sound right, but that's  how we lock them to the dingy. Besides its not like we are rowing that fast anyway..How could we there are holes in the  oars... I also checked the weather and found out the waves are to high for us to go out  in the ocean for a couple of days. We are hoping to get out on Friday..So a few more days here..Once all chores were  over we took Bella a shore for a walk , since she couldn't go on the boardwalk the day before. Stopped at a little neighborhood pub (Pickles Pub) that had an outside area and got happy hour drinks for only $2.00.. Yeah baby.. that's our kind of place. We stayed for 2 each and it was back to the boat. I made a pot of beans and cornbread for dinner and then we joined the people in the boat next to our for a glass of wine. Andy and Cathy are from Philadelphia. Carl had talked to him the day before on the radio and this morning he gave Carl some fuel line for the dingy motor. They severed us mussels that they had gotten right by where we were anchored the day before. Heck we didn't know that or we would have too. Today they are going clamming. Tomorrow we are gonna try getting mussels ourselves...Wish us luck.. You know how we are.. .A wonderful time was spent aboard their boat until it was getting a little cold out for me so we headed back to  Windward Spirit.. The rest of the evening was spent up on deck dancing in the moonlight after I got a jacket on.. By the way it was brought to my attention that some of you are not getting my responses to your comments.. First of all I respond to all comments though my email account. So if your not getting them please  make sure I have an email on you to reply to.. I love all the comments and please keep them coming...

  2. How do you make corn bread without an oven??? Watch those weather windows...they are very important. We like how you keep the oars safe.....just don't spank her with them Carl...those holes will make it sting!!! LOL. L&L
