I am pretty sure I heard reverly as we were pulling away from Cape May NJ. Yes we left with first light again.. Who is running this boat.. We never get up this early... Not a lot to report about the passage to Atlantic City. I was waiting for some fish to jump into the boat , but that never happened.... Once  in Atlantic City we went for diesel and a pump-out and then the anchorage area was picked and we dropped the hook. Carl did his securing the boat while I got the fish that he caught the day before ready to cook. We don't have any idea what kind of fish it was but I can tell you it made 2 wonderful fish sandwiches. A little butter and old bay and there you have it. Bella had been sniffing the air since the motor turned off, so we got the dingy down, after lunch, to give her a little shore leave. There was a beach just off the starboard side so over we headed. Playing ball always seems to be the thing to do to get going. I throw the ball then Carl will chase's her.She loves it.. About an hour of that and it was our time to get ready to go play. The boat traffic hear is very heavy once again,  the waves are numerous plus large, and we got soaked on the way back to the Windward Spirit. I wanted to go to the boardwalk and a few casinos so a bag was packed with dry clothes. Off we went headed for the dingy dock at the Golden Nugget. We sure look small with all those monstrous boats in there... It can be a bit unnerving..While tying up I'm sure we gave the other boaters something to watch.   I don't think they have seen a boat that small... Up the dock and to the restroom I  changed and returned my bag to the dingy. It was time to check out Atlantic city.. I had been here many years ago and didn't remember it being this spread out and the boardwalk this bedraggled... I must say never go to Ocean City then come here, it doesn't make this look good...  Together we hit a couple  of casino's, walked the boardwalk and had 2 drinks each, plus paid for the bus ride to the boardwalk and back and still only spent $20.00 total. I had won a few dollars on a slot machine so that paid for all we did.  Listen anytime you can have fun for only $20.00 it time well spent... Plus you know how great it is when that machine makes all that noise,   you think you won big even when you didn't... That's fun... We needed to get back to the dingy before dark so we could traverse the water without getting run over.During the trip we were hit with waves and I was soaked... I sit on the floor of the front of the boat. When it comes over the top I'm waiting for  it ..Oh..How refreshing.. As our luck would have it, the motor quit as we were on our way back. Try as Carl might it wouldn't start... A local state water cop stopped by to see if we were alright, and asked what part of Florida we hailed from. We told him St. Pete and we had oars (with holes in them) so we could row back. We tried using them like paddles but the current was to strong so Carl rowed. On board Carl tried to find the problem with the motor and I cooked dinner. The weather said it could be storms tonight. We were to close to the other boat so after dinner we had to pull anchor and move. By time all this was done, it was time to hit the hay..
