It was off for another free breakfast at the family's hotel, only this time we brought our lanudry. Michelle had told us they had a place to do it, so better than try to find a lanudry mat in town why not just do it there.Besides, then I can visit with them while I do it. What a great hotel this is!!! We get to the launddry room and the washer and dryers are Free!!! That's right FREE... We love this place, free good breakfast, free happy hour and now free laundry.. We would recommend the Staybridge Hotel for a place to stop to anyone....Great place... Gary and Michelle wanted to get a workout in, so we stayed with Danielle and Zack. I had brought along my jewery case so they could make a braclet or anklelet . It was alot of fun helping them pick out beads and place them. Danielle made one of each and Zack made 2 priate braclets with skulls....The family was checking out so we both got in a shower before they checked out. Carl, Gary and the kids went back to the boat and walked Bella. Carl showed them the cool World War II momument called World Apart, (it was a globe spilt in half with all the names of the men in the vicinity who were killed in battle). Michelle and I went to the grociery store. Funny how strange it is shopping in a store you are totally unfamiliur with. You spend more time and money. Once it was done it was back to the boat and our fairwell to the Coumbs family....BUMMER... We sure do miss them....We hung at the boat and a terrible thunderstorm fell, I mean you couln't see your hand in front of your face,it was pouring. All this rain has to be helping there drought..When it came time for happy hour at the hotel, (we still had a key) so it was FREE BEER & WINE this time they were serving Pizza and Salad

God, we love you guys. MODERN DAY PIRATES, just like us. You can truly have some fun and find the best deals and steals. I just saw Mark Twynam (FISH SPREAD GUY) at a funeral and told him about your great, entertaining blog and adventure. I gave him your blog site address to follow the adventure. We just wish we were there having fun with you.

ReplyDeleteRosie, that was for you, from Sue (well, and from me, too, since I had to practically hog-tie her antsy butt to the chair to get her to sit still for a few minutes)! Actually, I'm kidding ... checking out your blog site was Sue's big motivator. She's absolutely delighted by your daily entries (now really, who says things like "absolutely delighted" - I hate to admit that little phrase even occurred to me right now, but it's so spot-on that I forced my fingers to type it, even though they'd rather scrub the port-o-lets in downtown Tijuana the day after a Cinco-de-Mayo street party than be mistaken for the fluttering digits attached to the hand of an aging drag queen from downtown St. Pete - so you know it has to be true). Anyway, I think Sue did a splendid job sending you a message. And I'm really enjoying your adventure, too - vicariously through your posts (I never knew you were such a gifted writer). So happy you're having a great time - you certainly deserve it! Big Love, Virginia - PS: Post more pics ... ;-)
