To wake up in a marina was a nice thing, I made coffee and grabbed my cup of tea and headed to a land side bathroom, oh how nice. While I listened to morning weather report on the TV , Carl was taking in all the carpet that was hanging all over the boat drying from the storm the day before. . I got to wipe down all the walls and clean off all bugs using the extra water the lake gave us. That's is one way to clean a cabin out!! We took our time leaving the marina, I used the toaster they had available to make bagels,(funny how the everyday conveniences you have at home become special when you don't have them anymore) took showers and played with Bella. We filled up on fuel & water, but couldn't get a pump out because the guys were on lunch. I'm sure we will get one soon. Indian Town is a nice marina. If you ever get a chance to stop there I would, & we did. It was our last day on the waterway and it was a nice calm day, winds still on the nose so no sailing. While I was exercising on deck, a truck went by on shore and horned at me , COOL BEANS..We approached our last lock, and had to wait for about 30 minutes to get in. There were 2 other boats in with us. For a change the water was going down, 11ft so we only held on to the lines. The boat in front of us was a big cabin cruiser, and lucky for me he kept his engine running and I got all his fumes in my face. Oh the adventure of it all.. The locks were a great experience and we loved doing them , each lock tender with his own special way of letting you through.  We passed by a group of cows and horses on the shore as you will see in the pictures. All in all is was a pretty quiet day. As we got closer to Stuart the rain clouds came closing in, hoping to get to the  FREE DOCK  before the rain . Didn't make it , but the rain is nothing after the storm. The dock is real nice.. The city just built it in 2009 for people to come by boat and shop the historical area of town. You are allowed to stay 4 hours , but we know we will stay the night. We took Bella ashore and headed to town, what a nice place it is. We walked around while everyone reached down to pet Bella , she is such a pet whore. All she wants is people to pet her, also she is a great way to meet people. We enjoyed a ice cream in town and headed back to the boat for the evening. I forgot to tell you somethings that we saw the day of the storm,  so I will today. When we left Slim's Fish camp there was a swing bridge that was built in 1930. The bridge tender  (who also worked at the fish camp) had to drive up the bridge and put the traffic arm down manually and open the bridge the same way. They had a big handle that looked like a pipe and he walked around in a circle till it was open. Look at the pictures close and you will see it. Then came the raised railroad bridge. It also was very old and pretty cool to see. Today a friend of ours is coming to Stuart, so we will see if we can get away with another day at the  Free Dock.
