I posted the pictures from yesterday,1st is Francie & Larry, he is so funny making a face like that,2nd its Mira & Jeff , then Bob talking on the phone. The other picture is what the sky looked like most of the day and even darker when the rain hit. They haven't had much rain over here so the locals are glad to have it , however we would like a few days without it. It rained again off and on all day yesterday. While posting my blog Francie made this wonderful apple pan stuff for breakfast with mango/orange juice and had us over, it was great and I didn't have to cook .Thanks Francie!! The guy showed up about 10am and picked up the oil cooler to repair, boy were we glad to see him.We were gonna leave the dock, but decided to stay here one more day and hope he would bring the part back in the early evening, no such luck. So I spent the day cleaning the dog hair out of the boat. First I pulled the carpet scrubed it clean and hung it out to dry, then I scrubed the cockpit area, and then the galley. How does such a little dog spread so much hair everywhere..Carl tried his hand at all kinds of fishing. First he threw the castnet, it took awhile ,but he finally got a few fish, then he put them on a pole. After he killed a couple trying to put them on the hook, he managed to get one on alive. He fished for a most of the day..Still no fish..I feel bad for him, he sure is trying. The good part of the story is we have had 3 or 4 dolphins swimming here all day.
Francie told me about using white vingar to help reduce the smell in the head, so I headed back to Publix for some, plus I like the walk and I could use the excerise. Carl decided to walk to the end of the road with me, so he could get some beer. Off down the road the 3 of us went. I walked on to Publix and Carl & Bellas returned to the boat. There were other stores around the area, so I spent 2 hours just walking around looking at things and I picked up 2 pairs of shorts at Bealls Outlet. On the walk home the rowing club that is located at the end of the road, was pulling out those long boats and getting ready to practice being I never saw one of those up close I took my time walking by to have a good look.Upon my return Carl was still fishing, and one of the those boats rowed by pretty cool.Dinner was made I cooked the fish I bought, (it was delicious) and we settled in for the night . There were thunder storm warning for this area and they arrived.By the way thanks Francie the vingar worked.

I swear, I could be your sister...red hair, same good blogging boat breakdowns attitude and making good use of your dock time by scrubbing everything clean....then going shopping and loving the exercise part of it. You go girl!!!! And don,t ever give up fishing Carl......that,s where I went wrong. So..stay with it man!!!!
