Happiness is all i felt when I awoke this morning! Last night Carl was able to get the new thermostat in and the refrigeration is working fine, he completed the step on the transom and we were ready to sail. Thanks to Frank Eibell for helping me to find the part. The truck still had to be stored so it was started and we headed to Dad's house for one long last hot shower. Not to say we won't have hot water, but it will just be a very short shower!!!My brother meet us at his house where the truck is stored then, dropped us off at the boat. We waited until today to set sail, as no reason to leave at night. There is so much to celebrate, yes believe it or not we drop our lines and left the dock at 12:25 pm. Dick and Rita were kind enough to come by and take pictures of us leaving. Carl has checked all systems this morning and all are working great.... One last stop at Madiera Marina to top off fuel, pump out and get gas for the dingy, next stop Woody's for happy hour. What a great birthday this is turning out to be for me... What a wonderful gift setting sail to Maine, let the good times roll!!!
