We woke up after a good night sleep, to the wonderful  smells coming from the kitchen..Looked out the window in wonder at the fog.. It is really thick, here in Maine.. We walked down stairs to coffee and homemade muffins, and Nancy cooking potatoes for breakfast.. This is quite a terrific way to start the day. After breakfast Carl and I went to get the wash and some other stuff off the boat. It was low tide and Sam's dingy was over at the fort dock. So he let us use it to get out to the boat. That was a god send, since our boat was in the mud.. Low tide , you know...While on the boat we discovered that  our refrigeration unit had stopped. So we had to unload everything and put it in Nancy and Ernie's refrigerator and freezer, while we tried to figure this problem out..Please could we get a break on  the repairs.. really..Carl and Ernie headed back to the boat to remove the fuel lines we have been having trouble with , while Nancy and I started my wash. Carl and Ernie were at the boat a couple of hours and once back the found a place not to far away that could make braided steel lines with compressed fitting. They were only open until 4pm so we had to hurry to get there. All of a sudden it was come girls we have to go...In the car it was a pretty ride though the country on curvy roads. When we got to the town where they were gonna have the lines made, Nancy and I hopped out of the car and took a walk around town. Literally we hopped out when they stopped the car in traffic. You can't stop women when we want to shop...Nancy and I even found a free wine tasting, so you know we had to go to that... Didn't get to taste all the wine, cause that's when the guys got done with they hoses.. Maybe next time..Still we got a couple of tastes.. Hopefully the new hoses will stop our problems.. Back at the house we started to put dinner together while Ernie went pick up lobsters. We had stopped on the way home and picked up clams.. Tonight a clam bake.. loving it... I had brought the stuff from the boat to make sushi, since Nancy had never had it. I started the rice when Nancy said we should invite Sam and Fran, so she sent Carl over to ask them , and he returned with a affirmative answer.. Cool now it's a dinner party..The fun never stops... Ernie took the big pot outside and started the calm bake, Carl cut the sushi and Fran and Sam arrived with the cosmo's.. Dinner was wonderful.!! I was really happy Nancy liked the sushi, Ernie wouldn't try it saying he had in Japan years ago and it wasn't his thing..We spent a fantastic evening together with lots of laughs and good stories.. When the evening was over and all had gone, I purchased my ticket home to work the Republican National Convention..And it was off to bed for us..I look forward to what tomorrow brings..
