After a wonderful night of sleep, it was up and into a hot shower.. This is the life..Just like at home... The smell of coffee already in the air. By time I joined all downstairs they were in lively conversation about what the day would bring. Carl had already taken Bella out for a walk and Sandy and I were looking things up on her computer. I tired to blog, but wasn't able to. After all were showered we headed out to get my computer fixed and eat at this diner they wanted us to see. Well you know what happened at the computer store, did I say dork... Then we arrived at the Red Arrow Diner. The Red Arrow is famous as one of the top 10 diners in the country..This was one really cool place.. Everything  you could imagine. We waited for a seat at the counter and ordered. Sandy told the waitress that we were virgins there, and she rang a bell and  told all we were from St. Pete, then gave us stickers for our shirts. What fun and the food was good too..Back to Norm and Sandy's I wrote my Blog, Norm took his shower and we prepared for the day. We would be going back to the boat after a tour of Portsmouth. Norm drove us along the coast line to see the awesome view from the shore. We loved the town of Hampton Beach, your typical beach town, only crowded.. We stopped at a high sea wall so we could see the ocean and take in the surfers. It was only about a foot or 2 wave but they were out, surprised us..  The seawall is there to protect the beach but Sandy says in  a  storm it still comes over the wall. Must be a hell of a storm to come over that wall..As we drove along Sandy told us stories of bringing her kids here when they were young. Even in February , because they had cabin fever, and apparently so did everyone else as the beach was packed.. Crazy that all I can say...We stopped at a West Marine to pick up a cruisers guide to New England but they didn't have what we wanted. We haven't had one since New Jersey, so I guess we will survive..The walk around Portsmouth was wonderful. A  very pretty town, with rolling hills and quint  little shops that line the streets All the buildings were very old and close to the sidewalk.. . Outside cafes with lots of people on the sidewalk. Carl stopped at an information booth in the center of town, to find out which way to walk for post cards. How cool was that, that there was an information booth for tourist.. Really loving this place... Stopped at an outside cafe for chowder, as we had Bella and most won't let you bring a dog inside, the food we decided was okay. But the ice cream stop next at Annabelle's was great.. What can we say, love the ice cream....Ummmmm goooood. Then it was time to return to the boat and say goodbye to Norm and Sandy..That was not easy as we had a stupendous time with them. They are terrific hosts.. Back at the dock we had  to wait until someone opened the gate to the dock, since we didn't know the code to get in .This is a high end place and we just snuck in and got a mooring ball.Act like you belong and they never ask.. That's what we do... In a very short time someone came and we were in. Carl headed down the dock to get fuel for the dingy and I talked to Norm and Sandy while he was gone. They waited until we were headed to the boat before they left. We are so fortunate to be lucky enough to have people like them to stop and see. They are the best, even invited us back on our way home.. Thanks Norm and Sandy... Back at the boat , it was decided I would live another day, as the boat was fine.. Oh happy day...  We got to the business of figuring out which way to go tomorrow and called Ernie and Sandy in Maine. Lucky for them there next.. Or to hear us tell it.. We will see how they feel when we get there... Today Maine waters as soon as we leave the channel...
