Any day that starts out with a shower can only get better from there.. After my shower I was getting ready to walk over to the boat when I see Carl and Bella walking up to the house, so with a good morning kiss, we were off to the boat. Danelle and Zack our grand niece and nephew walked with us. Once at the boat I picked up my computer and a few fun things to play with and it was back to the family. By time we returned the rest of the family was ready for the day. But wait us girls needed some hair color . A girl must look her best when going out. Girls just want to have fun...We chose to take a trolley tour of the city, after the lighthouse we thought we should give our feet a break. The trolley sent a short bus to pick us up( did they know us) even let Bella come along. There was another dog on the tour only it obvious that dog doesn't travel a lot because it kept barking, not Bella she is a seasoned traveler at this point. We learned the history of the town, with a running commentary, humor included, all in 90 minutes. It was far faster than the walking we did last time on the way north. Not to mention the saving of our soles.. Then we were lucky enough to have my brother Mike who drives a truck, hit town for lunch..The day just keeps getting better. A stop at the Pirate House for lunch and to learn of the poor men who drank there in the 1700's only to wake upon a ship .. Its a sailors life for me...Like it or NOT...Mike had to go, so us girls went shopping, and what did we find a hat store... So many hats so much fun...If you need a smile hit a hat store..When that fun behind us it time for more.. We left the kids on Great Grandpa watch and we were off to the bar to celebrate Michelle's birthday. Luckily for her I had the hat Sue made me for my birthday, so all would know she was having a whale of a good time.. A tremendous time was had by all.. With a police convention in town they were partying like criminals..It was big fun, we even got clogging lessons, with Julie from Georgia..We closed the bars and Carl and I headed back to the boat. When we met one of the staff from the cruise ship that had docked right behind us.. So close was that ship that its dingy hung over ours..Scary... Glad they had a experienced captain...A cocktail more on board with Whitney and Keon and it was 3:30AM time for these pirates to head to bed. Our time with family in Savannah will be one of the best memories of our trip..Thanks for coming.. Love ya all... Today we move south..
