Man is it cold!!!! As I sit here typing the post I have on my winter gloves.Let me tell you it's not easy.. This trip has taken us from blistering heat this summer to the chilly days of winter. Thankful for the flannel sheets...Oh Yeah.... When we left Southport N.C we headed due south, looking for warmer weather and getting closer to home.. But alas no warmer weather..During the day it does get up to the 50's maybe 60's a veritable heatwave, but it never last long. Bella and I spend more time in the cabin, only a few hours up top with Carl. He says he doesn't mind, cause he know how cold it is, and I give him breaks tough out the day..We are on the ICW with not much to see, we have had many boats heading the same way as us. I did see a lighthouse to a marina near Myrtle Beach and a antenna that looked like a Mexican hat, but that was about it. We found a nice little anchor hole to stop for the night in and I made us a nice hot dinner. Cooking seems to be the thing that heats up the cabin, so I don't mind cooking. Last night it got down into the high 30's....Brrrrrrr... Isn't that a oxcy-moron, how can the 30's be high.. You got me.. anyway we continue south hoping to escape some of this cold weather..

Dang it, that's frickin' cold, high 30s. Make tracks for the sunshine state! Cold front coming thru right now, but, only 50s.
