We didn't do much today, the winds were pretty high and the waves were still high and the sea's were rough. I didn't want to go on shore so we spent the day on the boat.We talked about going surfing but the winds were really on it and that's not fun.. Carl went over charts and I read books and cooked meals. We did watch a movie and played a game of rummy, I won... The winds continued to blow as the night drew near, still blowing quite a bit after dark. We are looking for our weather window but it seems to be getting harder the later in the month it becomes. We may have to move in weather we don't really like..We have to get farther south , or we could end up stuck here, really... So this morning we moved to the other side of the island and are hoping for the best. The water was really rough coming around. Now we will fuel up and see what happens...

ReplyDeleteI've been thinkin' it, you said it. The NE weather on the water in the fall sucks and only gets crappier as the season moves forward, not to mention the days get shorter. The south is a callin'!
